Zoë

Recently adopted into her family, Zoë is a lovely mutt with a hint of gazelle in her background, on display when she leapt after her balls (and struggled a bit with retrieving, those quick-footed ungulates of Africa not being noted for their retrieving). When we settled down back inside, she gave me a soulful look with her deep brown eyes, and her occasional and adorable one-ear-up look of attention. Zoë won her session at the silent auction at the Somerville Dog Festival in support of and organized by the Somerville Foundation for Animals, a charity which is dedicated to providing education about responsible pet ownership and supporting local organizations in their efforts to provide care and education to pet owners and their companion animals, including shelters and rescue organizations and the Vest a Dog network to provide K9 vests to police dogs.
