Gatsby

Keen eyes may remember Gatsby here from my first Photo Day at RiverDog in Somerville, or as the grinning face on the poster for the upcoming Holiday Card Portrait session (at RiverDog on November 8, sign up now!)

Last week I got to work with him and his owner for a full portrait session. We met at a big, open dog park where his gray hound-ness could fully express itself. He sprinted all over chasing his ball and dashing off to meet every new dog who arrived for their morning walks. This lasted for the first fifteen minutes or so until he tired himself out and we transitioned from action shots to calmer portraits and some quality time with a stick he found.
